AirPay is a software application run through Authorize.Net which will operate on any handheld PDA (personal digital assistant) device. This system allows merchants to process credit card sales from any location where you have wireless service! The AirPay system authorizes credit cards just the same way as traditional credit card sales are charged or credited in the normal retail setting. No longer is a traditional swipe terminal necessary for credit card authorizations. In addition, merchants can view Authorize.net reports from their wireless PDA device. This system works in conjunction with an Authorize.Net account using the merchant's existing login ID and password supplied at the time of merchant account approval. Other such powerful features like FraudScreen.Net and AVS filtering are available for AirPay transactions.
